The Role
Our dynamic Airfreight Team is on the hunt for a motivated Warehouse & Transport Manager to oversee our facility in Eaglefarm.
What you will be responsible for?
- Ensure staff are performing to high levels of productivity
- Ensure our facility is well-maintained and functioning at its best
- Oversee the training and performance of the team to ensure we are meeting client expectations
- Manage and report on the usage of space and labour, adjusting with volume peaks and troughs
- Take responsibility for ensuring all cargo is checked in and delivered on time
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Manager with freight forwarding experience and the proven ability to lead a team in the warehouse environment.
This includes:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability contribute to improved productivity and results
- Tech savvy with MS programs (Word, Excel etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
